Spencer Lewis & Pappy Biondo will appear together at the Plainfield Opera House on Sunday, February 16th at 4PM.
Lewis’ introspective, old-time, ‘grass-tinged songs are driven by his inimitible cross-flat-picking guitar style and Biondo’s epic banjo riffs that weave and climb in a swirl of melodic tonal modality. Additionaly, there will be newly interpreted versions of Lewis’ well known catalog of instrumental music.
They will perform music to celebrate the release of Lewis’ latest album “Of Spirit & Friends” with ballad of those close to him who have passed, along with his backwoods anthems.
Lewis founded his Quartz Recordings label in 1983. He has performed nationally and across the
state of Vermont, where he has lived and worked since age 19. As a writer, producer, and
recording artist with over 120,000 units sold and 100K+ streams per year, he combines his
